HTTP Uploader provides a sleak and effective way of uploading your files to the web, making them accessible anywhere and to anyone.

Use existing file hosting services or manage your own host. HTTP Uploader can be configured to upload your files to the destination of your choice.

Wide compatibility

HTTP Uploader is compatible with any web server that supports server side scripting file uploads via multipart/form-data. Example of compatible scripting languages is PHP, ASP, ColdFusion, Ruby on Rails, etc... You can also supply additional POST-variables to the request, such as a username and password.

Easy uploading

Initiating an upload is as simple as it gets. Choose your preferred method yourself. You can either drag and drop a file at the application window, or directly at the application icon in the dock. Dropping at the dock works even when the app isn't running. You can also choose your file with a standard file chooser dialog.

Fast results

After starting the upload in your preferred way, the upload will quietly begin. When the file is uploaded you will be informed via a small Growl notification. The URL of your uploaded file has been copied to your pasteboard, ready to be used in any application you want.

Host your own uploads

If you have your own server or web host, you can use one of these sample scripts to host your uploads yourself.
  • Download Basic PHP-script with support for password, filename generation, file overwrite protection and banning of specified filetypes.
